Rise Motorsports was founded in 2022 by husband and wife, Tim and Rita Goulet, along with the help and support of countless family members and friends.
We currently race the #31 National Police Association Chevrolet SS full time in the NASCAR ARCA Menards East Series with Rita Goulet as the primary driver, while Tim Goulet runs part time in the ARCA Menards National Series.
We specialize in working with small businesses and organizations interested in taking their advertising to a national level (most races are aired live on Fox Sports 1 or Fox Sports 2). As a small team, we understand that many businesses are operating on a limited advertising budget and we pride ourselves on giving you the best value possible.
In addition to your logo on our race car, we can bring our race car to your trade show, event, or customer appreciation day. We've held team t-shirt giveaways on social media in order to increase our sponsor's website traffic, organized meet-and-greets and autograph opportunities for our sponsor's customers and clients, and we are happy to provide trackside hospitality and pit passes to our races.
We welcome creativity and if you can dream of it, we can do it for you! Please contact us for detailed 2024 partnership information and let us work with you to come up with something great!
Occasionally, Rise Motorsports has opportunities for experienced and funded drivers to get behind the wheel of our #31 Chevrolet for testing sessions at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, NC. We also have races available in the ARCA Menard's National Series, and from time to time, in the ARCA East and West Series as well.
Our drivers receive world-class coaching, a car built and set up by veterans of the industry, along with a work ethic and attention to detail that you won't find anywhere else, and at one of the lowest price points in the series.
All you have to do is bring your racing gear and show up to the track! Our team takes care of the hard work, so you can concentrate on racing.
If your goal is race some of NASCAR's greatest tracks, please reach out to us for more information on our race rental program.

Rita started from humble beginnings, even experiencing homelessness as a teen, but she was determined to make something of herself. She became a paramedic in 2006, then joined the Tuscaloosa (Alabama) Police Department in 2011, eventually working her way up to Patrol Sergeant.
Through it all, she harbored a love of fast cars, and finally started turning her dream into a reality, racing her Mazda Miata in local amateur series. Though she found success, she still longed for the powerful V8 engines and harrowing NASCAR tracks, so she sold her Miata, bought a NASCAR stock car, and raced in the NASCAR ARCA Menards Series in 2022 and 2023.
Rita has big plans for 2024! Thanks to her primary sponsor www.nationalpolice.org she will be racing full time in the NASCAR ARCA Menards East Series.
She currently works as a police officer in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Tim Goulet grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, watching the NASCAR Trucks Series race at the famed "Milwaukee Mile" racetrack. As Tim grew up, his love for racing never lessened, and he raced a late model at his local dirt tracks for several years.
Tim went to school to become an industrial mechanic, but his desire to race never left him. Several years ago, Tim decided to follow his dreams, moved his family to North Carolina, and started working with Mike Harmon Racing, first as a pit crew member, car chief, and finally as crew chief.
Tim has worked for several teams throughout the years, including MBM Motorsports and Jesse Iwuji Motorsports, but deep down, he wanted to someday own his own race team. He met Rita in early 2022 and discovered that they had similar goals. They founded Rise Motorsports together as they both felt that they "rose from the ashes" in their individual lives. Tim's goal is to be able to mentor future drivers and crew members and contribute in some small way to the future of NASCAR and ARCA.
Tim currently races part time in the NASCAR ARCA Menards National and West Series.
Rick Goodale is a retired police officer from Maryland and grew up watching old-school NASCAR drivers and developed a love of all things fast.
In 2021, Rick and his family moved from Maryland to Mooresville, North Carolina and Rick was working as a civilian for the Gastonia Police Department (GPD) when he met Rita after she was hired by GPD in 2023.
Initially, Rick tagged along with Rita and Tim to the April ARCA race at Dover Motor Speedway to get some photos and video for a promotional piece that GPD was putting together highlighting Rita. After Dover, Rick ended up going with the team to document races in Nashville and Charlotte.
MIdway through the season, Tim decided he wanted to drive the #31 car for the ARCA race in Berlin, Michigan and asked Rick if he wanted to try his hand at spotting.
The rest they say, is history! Rick spotted Rita in six races, Tim for two races, and Brayton Laster for three races.
Rick is anxiously looking forward to the start of the 2024 season and getting back up the roof!
